Fellowship
Our Class meets in Binkley Hall with an enrollment of more than 60 members. Our name tells what we are all about—Christian fellowship for adults. Our membership ranges from the parent age to grandparents and even great-grandparents. We welcome new members.
We use the Adult Bible Studies Series. These are Bible-based, Christ-focused lessons making our faith relevant in today’s world. Our current teacher is Jerre Nurre, as well as invited guest teachers.
Our budget reflects support of the programs of our church and monthly contributions to the Texas Dept. of Protective Services and the Sherman Assistance Ministries (SAMS); and a yearly pledge to New Visionaries of the North TX Conference.
We have great socials—an annual fish fry, attending the Sherman Community Theater, or just getting together for good food and good fellowship.
Our motto is 1st Thess. 5:11:
"…encourage one another and build up each other…"
